General Construction    1987 - 1989

For three summers, my best friend Matt and I worked general construction on various work sites in and around Nashville. This was some of the hardest, but most rewarding and educational lessons I ever had. We were 16 and thrown into a tough world of hard work and hard workers. We woke up at 5am every day and drove to the work site, worked a HARD 8-10 hours and drove home with aching backs and callused hands. But the exposure to tools, equipment and just figuring it all out was invaluable for the rest of my life.

I ate soooooooo many blackberries.
